Was Paula Abdul Drunk on American Idol Last Night?

American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, seemed a little… um, er… disoriented last night and some people are saying that she was drunk or high on some sort of drugs.
I don’t really know and I try not to judge but she was a little confused and maybe it was just the change in the routine […]

American Idol 7 Top 5 - Jason Castro

Jason Castro sang “Forever in Blue Jeans” and it was cute.  I liked the guitar accompaniment but I’m not completely sure about those vocals.  I don’t think it was a bad song choice, really, but Jason has been disappearing more by the day, in my opinion.

American Idol 7 Top 5 - David Cook

David Cook sang “I’m Alive” and I thought it was good but not as good as his second performance.  I think it was a decent song choice considering the fact that the contestants had to pick two (!!!) songs from a pre-selected theme this week.  That can be tough.  By the way, does anyone […]

American Idol 7 Top 5 - Brooke White

Brooke White sang “I’m a Believer” as she played the guitar.  The song was probably made most famous by The Monkees (I loved that show!).  I did not particularly love this performance but she looked really nice :)

American Idol 7 Top 5 - David Archuleta

David Archuleta sang “Sweet Caroline” and he seemed a bit uncomfortable to me but he still sounded good.  As a teen, there aren’t a whole lot of Neil Diamond songs that are going to “feel right” but he did a decent job.

American Idol 7 Top 5 - Syesha Mercado

Syesha Mercado sang “Hello Again” and, for the most part, it was good but I felt like she had a few pitch issues and I got a little bored.  She looked really beautiful and, overall, I think she deserves to be here another week.

Carly Smithson on Regis and Kelly - Video

American Idol’s most recently eliminated contestant, Carly Smithson, was on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning where she talked about her tattoos, her husband, working with Mariah Carey and her relationship with Idol judge, Simon Cowell (among other things).  I think Carly looked great:
