A First for American Idols
Taylor Hicks and the other Top 10 Finalists will be guest at the White House on Friday, July 28th. This will be the first time the Idols have ever been invited to the White House. Taylor Hicks has an inside connection at the White House, but not sure if that’s been the reason the group was invited this time.
Taylor’s 9th grade English teacher is First Lady Laura Bush’s press secretary, Susan Whitson.
The contestants will be in the area for their American Idols Live tour with their stop in the capital.
