Ace Young Releasing Debut Album

American Idol’s 7th place finisher from season 5 is releasing his first album. Ace Young has spent a lot of time doing charity work and establishing himself as basically a good human being so I am happy to hear that he is making an album. I know that when I think of Ace, the first performance that pops into my head was his memorable, sexy rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Butterflies.” His falsetto voice is great!
Anyway, the former Idol cutie has inked a deal with S Curve Records (Fountains of Wayne, Joss Stone). The album is set to be released in September but that’s basically all I know. There’s no title yet but I can tell you that Young will be backed by a full band on the album, which is being executive produced by hitmaker Desmond Child (Kelly Clarkson), with songs written by Diane Warren (‘NSYNC, Pussycat Dolls) and Andreas Carlson (Nick Lachey, Britney Spears). I’m not sure if any of you know that Ace actually helped Chris Daughtry write Daughtry’s first hit, “It’s Not Over.” He has said that he will be writing or co-writing all the tunes on his album as well as working on songs with “everyone,” though he declined to name names. “You’ll hear it when it happens,” he promised. …
Its about time. Ace is another pretty good singer that needs to fnd the right song,and he will be on his way.

I am one of Ace’s biggest fans from NJ and have been looking forward to his debut album very much!! I know how hard he’s been working over the last few months, and I know that his album is gonna be AWESOME!!…and I can’t wait to celebrate this album him and my fellow “Highrollers”

YAY for Sweet Ace …. He is seriously the nicest human being I have ever met, and he deserves this album deal !!!!! …. Can’t wait to hear that amazing voice coming out of my CD players !!!!!
This has been a long time coming and I’m so happy for Ace. He’s a sweetheart of guy and I wish him much success. Now, if only he’d start booking solo tour dates!

Ace has been giving concerts all over the US and he is amazing! I can’t wait to have a full CD of his original songs to listen to. How often do you find a guy who’s talented, gorgeous, has the “it” factor, and also gives so much of his time to charity? Ace is my American Idol from all the seasons!

I have been waiting for this CD to be release since September. It is now January 2008 and no CD. What has happened. Is ACE still planning on releasing a CD and When?
I am trying to buy his CD. Ace is great and perhaps the best from the season and the most talented. I want to support his career.
I listened to the entire album and was extremely impressed by what I heard. It sounds like a very good album to me.
It’s hard to believe that this thread was started over a year ago…LOL, but now we can FINALLY make it OFFICIAL!! Ace’s debut album hits stores July 15th!!
