American Idol 7 Results - March 6, 2008
WOOHOO!!! It’s elimination night on American Idol and we are treated by a performance by last season’s runner-up, Blake Lewis. He is singing “How Many Words” and he sounds good! Well, it is good to see Blake on the show and be able to perform a song the way that he wants rather than having to conform…
Paula Abdul’s single “Dance Like it’s No Tomorrow” is #1 on iTunes but Simon still couldn’t congratulate her, lol…
More after the jump!
David Cook, David Archuleta and Jason Castro have made it to the Top 12!
Brooke White makes the Top 12 and Kady Malloy is going home (sorry but thank you American voters!!!!).
David Hernandez and Michael Johns are through to the Top 12.
Luke Menard has been eliminated!
Ramiele Malubay, Carly Smithson, Amanda Overmyer and Kristy Lee Cook made it to the Top 12.
Asia’h Epperson has been sent home (sorry, I don’t think she should have won but she shouldn’t be going home already).
Chikezie has made into the Top 12!
Danny Noriega was eliminated - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Ramiele Malubay is crying soooo hard. Poor girl!

I was really sad about Danny leaving D:
But I do wonder, without trying .. to start rumours XD, is there something going on between ramiele and danny? ^^

Um, Sophie, Danny is gay. They are just good friends.
And there were many usually accurate sources stating that it was Luke and Chickeze that got the lowest votes. In fact, on DialIdol, Danny was ranked in the top 4. Danny had an astounding amount of people behind him, it was truly a shock when he was eliminated. I was actually expecting Ryan to say “Just kidding!” or something.
That said, I refuse to ever watch AI again this season, and instead will be joining Vote for the Worst to avenge Danny’s untimely and unlikely elimination. I want to see Archuleta and Carly hit the road — for Danny.

OMG! I’m soooo glad Kady Malloy went home home home home home! Yippeeee! No more Britney mimics on my telly screen!
See, America, listen to What Simon Says (to Kady): “I think you’re in trouble.”
Simon rules! GO Simon!
I knew Asia’h was going home as soon as I saw her outfit and heard the first notes of her song choice.
“OOOOOOOH! I just have to sing this song in front of America because I’m the best person to do a remake!” and there she was, flopping around the stage like a marionette.
And didn’t I see a vidclip of some transparent fishing line attached to Asia’h’s arms and legs?
Please! Leave the diva songs to the divas. that’s what they’re there for, to wear obnoxiously long dresses and sing their diva songs.
Sorry, Asia’h, you could do very well in a singing career–very well–but American Idol is NOT the right place for you; AI never was the right place nor will it ever be the right competition for you.
When you auditioned, you had such a good audition with the judges. What happened?
Who’s with me on this one:
Asia’h needs the European summer music festivals, like Glastonbury, especially the summer London music festivals.
Or, even better Asia’h, get a 6 month Artist visa for the UK, and temporarily move to London for 6 months: it’s guaranteed you’d get a record contract within that time.
You know you have the voice! Go to the UK and get that record contract instead of waiting around for ’someone’ in American to ‘give’ you a record contract!
