David Cook deserved it. He had three different styles and remained true until the last song. He didn’t play it safe but chose a song fans didn’t hear him perform. He was awesome…
I didn’t want the twerp to win, but I feel real bad now that his dad probably will give him a whipping. I’m sure his dad is partially to blame for promising his son that he would win. Lot of friction that is going to cause an explosion soon.

I have enough faith in mankind to trust not many could “hate” another person, especially a kid they do not know. David A should do just fine.
For a so-so AI season, I thought the finale was pretty good. I enjoyed it, especially watching Cook in his winning moment.

The best was when, as Idol ran over, our local station started running the intro to Family Guy. I almost fell over.
Oh, and yeah, Cook is the better David. But I’m shocked that he won. I wouldn’t have guessed that his fans would outvote all the pre-teens who were voting for Archie.
