American Idol 7 Top 10 - Chikezie
Chikezie was born in 1985 and he is singing “If Only For One Night” and his voice sounds smooth and strong but I’m not sure about the song choice. Randy said that the song sounded too old school and he didn’t love it, Paula disagreed and said that he did a great job and Simon said that he sang the song well but found the performance very cheesy.

He sounded great but I like the slightly crazy Chikezie performances…they are so entertaining.

I wasn’t a Chikezie fan from the start, but this guy is really growing on me. His song last night was just so-so and kind of generic. But he blew me away two weeks ago with that Beatles song, “She’s A Woman”! What an interesting rendition. Who knew he had it in him?

If you get a chance to read this, get back to me at the mail address. By the way folks here’s a better way to get his name right phonetically “chi -ke -zi -air”. Now you know how to pronounce it correctly ‘cuz I know.
