American Idol 7 Top 10 Girls Ramiele Malubay - Video
Ramiele Malubay has been doing Filipino and Polynesian cultural dances for twelve years! She sang “Don’t Leave Me This Way” and, I liked her singing but I am always worried about how disco songs go over with audiences. It’s hard to show off your voice with a song like this. Oh well. Randy said it was “okay” and not the greatest song choice, Paula agreed and Simon said that he’s heard that song too many times and that Ramiele was much better last week.

Opps. I posted my thoughts on the previous blog post of top 12 girls. Well, here it is again. I still got goosebumps hearing her voice. However, I was a bit disappointed with her song choice just like the judges. The song was too typical. As I previously mentioned, I would’ve wanted to hear her do “Love Child” by the Supremes. The low key to a big build up to the chorus would’ve been great to hear with Ramiele’s voice. I think she’s make it further with her consistent voice. Just song choice song choice song choice….makes a good performer. Good luck Ramiele.

well done baby! well, nobody seems feel like dancing this crucial time though it’s healthy to the heart, If you can pick a song which is pleasing to the ears, indulging to the heart
then you got it.. your voice is still fresh afterall.. stay fresh baby.. revive this lonely planet..

i think Ramiele needs a make-over. her hair and clothes distract me. her voice is good but the appearance turns me off. her hair is over-done and her clothes make her look cheap..or in her language tagalog, “baduy.” Paula almost slipped in saying that she is “colorful”..and when Paula can’t stop giggling and talking to the audience and calling them mutt, it felt like she was implying something to Ramiele. it could just be me but, hey, i just had to say something.
i love her voice..i swear!

Ramiele, you have a beautiful voice, but you need to let it out you lack projection girl. Sing from the bottom of your heart. Find a song that makes the people move. Goodluck
