American Idol 7 Top 11 – Michael Johns

Michael Johns sang “A Day in the Life” (remember Taylor Hicks singing this on the finale last year?  Loved it) and I also like this song a lot and I did not love it, sorry.  Maybe I just like this song too much but I found this to be a boring copycat of the original.  Randy said it wasn’t one of his best performances and maybe wasn’t the right song for him.  Paula said it seems like he doesn’t have a connection with the audience which might have been because of the monitors.  Simon said it was a mess and said that he needs to sort himself out.
