American Idol 7 Top 12 Girls Ramiele Malubay – Video
February 20, 2008 by Jeanne
Ramiele Malubay sang “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me” and she did a good job. I just really hate that song so it’s hard for me to judge. Randy said she was “classy, almost like a pro.” Paula said she is a “force to be reckoned with” and Simon said that she “outsung every person.”
Watch Ramiele sing:

I must say she surprised me and I have put her on my favorites list. She has such a powerful voice for such a tiny girl. Good job….go South Florida!!!
I love this girl, although I didn’t love her song choice this time around. She can really belt it and the song didn’t show that at all.
Yeah…I agree with other comments…I love & I am waiting the moment that I can really say “WOW!!!” to Ramielle performance. Though I like her singing to the top 12 but I just kinda do not like the choice of song she sung tonight. I will pray she could make it through even the finale. Go girl…I’m always here cheering & campaining every bloggers to vote for you.
I added on my list of favorites Asia, Carly, David Archuletta,Ms. Brooke (I do believe she is great) & the australian guy…
That was very good performance! Keep it up, Ramiele!
her performance was great. If you get Simon to say something nice, it sure is nice.
perrrfect performance! sure hope she’ll maintain the way she performs each and every time.
Huh! Almost can’t wait another day to see my fave in american idol season 7. How I wished I could watch them now. I was never been as hooked as I am right now on a TV show…not until american idol season 7 came. Though I like the previous seasons but this time somehow is very incomparable. Fresh, beautiful, & young talented contenders are all over except for few!!!!
Ramiele is definitely my fav. I was a bit disappointed with her song choice for week of Feb 25. Too typical of a 70’s song. I would’ve loved to hear her do “Love Child” by the Supremes. The slow build up to the strong chorus I what she needed. None the less she still has a strong consistent voice.
i think Ramiele needs a make-over. her hair and clothes distract me. her voice is good but the appearance turns me off. her hair is over-done and her clothes make her look cheap..or in her language tagalog, “baduy.” Paula almost slipped in saying that she is “colorful”..and when Paula can’t stop giggling and talking to the audience and calling them mutt, it felt like she was implying something to Ramiele. it could just be me but, hey, i just had to say something.
i love her voice..i swear!
hi..yes i agree, she’s my favorite too..however, (i hope she reads this) she needs to do more experimentation..what paula said i quite right, she’s always playing it safe, singing simple songs, nothing that can challenge her singing, unlike syesha mercado and chikezie who went a mile to challenge theirselves singing difficult songs..
Ramielle! We proud of you..do you love Jason? He’s very hot..so good luck girl!
