American Idol 7 Top 12 Guys Michael Johns – Video

Michael Johns sang “Light My Fire” and I liked it. I like his look and I like him but I wasn’t completely thrilled by this performance (since he had done this during Hollywood Week). I think he had some pitch problems and I think it was too much like the original but it was good. Randy said he loves that Michael throws caution to the wind. Paula said it was an excellent way to end the night. Simon said that he is the most consistent contestant.

He was great but we all knew he would be
Honestly, I thought his performance was disappointing. He’s just like Carly Smithson. Very very good audition and performances in Hollywood Week so I expected a mind-blowing performance from him on Tuesday. It was good. Not great. And far from the Bohemian rhapsody that he did. I know he can do and will do better though.
Oh, and it was so obvious that he’d do the Doors
I loved this performance. He’s adorable and I love his voice. If he doesn’t make it into the top 12 I’d be surprised.
I’m glad David Cook won! My very favorite “Idol” though is Bo Bice, then David Cook, and then MICHAEL JOHNS!!!
