American Idol 7 Top 3 – David Cook

David Cook on American Idol 7 Top 3

David Cook was saddled with a different and challenging song choice from Simon Cowell who assigned the American Idol Top 3 contestant with “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.”  He did a great job, in my very humble opinion.  I was surprised that he did so well on this old-school Roberta Flack tune but he worked it out.

Watch David perform “Dare You To Move” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” after the jump!

David really puts his heart into his songs. He is that smooth rocker we are looking for. Even though Simon tried to torpedo him he came out on top. Too bad Simon. Too good David.
