American Idol 7 Top 4 – Syesha Mercado

Syesha Mercado may have earned herself a spot in the American Idol season 7 Top 3 with her performances of "Proud Mary" and "A Change Is Gonna Come." I’m not sure if I was 100% sold on either performance but that second some was charged with energy and those tears she shed after Paula Abdul "welcomed" her to her "dream" had to have touched many a voter’s heart (not that I’m saying she cried to get votes!).

she was trying to get sympathy votes with the crying and the involving the civil rights movement. i think this girl is a very good actress and i cant believe paula and simon are falling for it. especially paula is usually good at spotting fake girls but not this time =(
Class act and a nice individual. Funny how Randy does not like any other strong black women besides Mariah and Whitney. So yesterday.
