American Idol 7 Top 5 – David Cook

David Cook American Idol 7 Top 5

David Cook sang “I’m Alive” and I thought it was good but not as good as his second performance.  I think it was a decent song choice considering the fact that the contestants had to pick two (!!!) songs from a pre-selected theme this week.  That can be tough.  By the way, does anyone think he sounds like Creed a little bit?

Watch David’s second performance after the jump!

When he returned to the stage David sang “All I Really Need Is You” and it sounded like a song he could have released himself.  It was pretty good, actually.  I liked the arrangement a lot.  I’m not sure about that hair, though.  It kind of reminded me of Bette-Sue from The Biggest Loser.

Go David! No matter what he will sell the most albums from this season’s contestants. David A may win but David Cook will be the most successful. David has talent but this guy takes it a step further. He is going to do very well.
