He was not as bad as the judges said he was. But, again, Carly was NEVER as bad as the judges said she was. Jason's songs sound amazing, including Memories, when you listen to the studio versions. I dont know how he went out and sang his second song after Paula's comments anyway. I gotta give him credit for trying and not just packing it in and going to dinner. All these kids are doing the best they can...they all seemed quite upset after Paula blew her cover...it was so uncomfortable and it wasn't due to the performance itself. I love Jasons work...he is the only contestent who's music connects with me emotionally.
