American Idol 7 Top 7 – Brooke White

Brooke White seemed genuine to Mariah Carey and seemed to make an impression on her. She chose to sing “Hero” and she was trembling. I haven’t seen her so nervous. Randy said that he was really felt it at the beginning but that it felt apart at the bridge and lost confidence at the end. Paula said she is authentic and that the unplugged version of the song was really brave. Simon said that he doesn’t think she had much choice but to sing that song because of the theme this week but that something vital was missing.

It was a rushed, scattered performance. I think it could get her booted off the show this week.
I think she could be in danger this week. I like Brooke a lot, she has a very pretty voice, but this was just a horrible theme week for her and the song didn’t work at all. I felt really bad for her.
I liked the beginning of the song. But she really lost it towards the end. But, I know it must have been a tough week for her. Her voice doesn’t really carry a Mariah song.
How can I email Brook . There is a song she can nail down as a winner ( TOUCHED BY THE SUN ) Carly Simon ..

Brooke, have you tried singing and playing Tori songs? You should.. maybe not on the Idol stage but on one of your shows perhaps.
Brooke: from a mature baby boomer, you should be singing Ann Murray, Carly Simon, or Karen Carpenter songs. You will shine!
I agree, Anne Murray and Karen Carpenter would be great for Brooke
