American Idol 7 Top 7 – Kristy Lee Cook

Kristy Lee Cook was rehearsing in from of Mariah Carey and gave her goosebumps (wow!). Kristy could really be on the upswing. She chose to sing “Forever” and it was a good performance! I was pleasantly surprised. That could be a country hit right now! Randy said that he didn’t think it was amazing but he said that she stepped it up at the end. Paula said that Kristy is a smart girl and she was blown away and agreed with me (lol) that it could be a hit. Simon said that he didn’t get chills and that the performance was a bit whiny at times.

Kristy Lee has gotten a free pass for too many weeks. She should have gone last week (AND NOT MICHAEL JOHNS!) so I hope this is her week.
I’m with Cherie. I think Syesha could end up leaving just because she’s been in the bottom three for so many weeks, or Brooke because she had a rough night. But I would be very happy to finally say goodbye to Kristy.
I still haven’t forgiven her for that emotionally flat performance of “Coat of Many Colors”.
I am not a big fan of Kristy – at all. But, I thought she deserved more praise than what she got last night. I thought she pulled it off and made it cute little country song. I was actually pretty proud of her last night. I was expecting worse than that for Mariah week.
WOW. one of my all time favorite Mariah songs.She really delivered it. Another Carrie, a dark horse. I will download it on itunes which I have neder done. Great job.
she did AMAZING job with this song. can someone please explain to me why she went home this week after her best performance sofar? reminds me of gina glocksen from last year… anyone else agree?
