American Idol 7 Top 8 Girls Ramiele Malubay - Video
Ramiele Malubay sang “Against All Odds” and as much as I like Ramiele, I really hate when people sing this song. It almost never turns out right (and that’s not her fault). Still, it’s just a personal opinion and I think she is a good singer. Randy said he thought it was pretty good but that she needs to be more confident, Paula said she deserves to be in the Top 12 and Simon said it was good but predictable and old-fashioned.

yup, I totally agree that Ramiele needs to break out and get more risky with her choice of songs and style. If it gets too familiar, chances are she might not make it.

I love her voice but i want to hear her belt it!!! I think she could do really well.

She’s unremarkable. I can hear more breath than voice coming out of her at the start of each note. It’s an odd way of singing, and in the long run, it could become annoying to the listener.

Yeah, I agree she needs to do something great. Because I think she is capable of more than just those safe songs. These songs are not allowing us to see much personality from her and that’s a big reason why she needs to stand out with a great song.

i think Ramiele needs a make-over. her hair and clothes distract me. her voice is good but the appearance turns me off. her hair is over-done and her clothes make her look cheap..or in her language tagalog, “baduy.” Paula almost slipped in saying that she is “colorful”..and when Paula can’t stop giggling and talking to the audience and calling them mutt, it felt like she was implying something to Ramiele. it could just be me but, hey, i just had to say something.
i love her voice..i swear!
