American Idol 7 Top 8 Guys Michael Johns – Video

March 4, 2008 by Jeanne

Michael John

Michael Johns sang “Don’t You Forget About Me” and it was okay but it *is* one of my favorite songs (from “The Breakfast Club” soundtrack).  Randy said it was a nice one, Paula said she loves the strength in his lower range and Simon liked it but didn’t love it.

Michael was amazing. He killed the song tuesday night…and breezed his way into the top 12!!!

A real performer, maybe not the best voice, but he is an electrifying singer!

check out Michael at http://www.whynatte.com. Totally random site I found him on, but it’s a candid shot. Must be friends with these guys. Anyway, he’s amazing!

The voting system of American Idol has been wrong from the beginning!
There should be ONE VOTE per hone call—or at least do what the Dancing With the Stars do—only as many votes as there are contestants left!
This voting system is dishonest, allowing people to just keep re-dialing for 2 hours!!!!
It has become a popularity contest instead of a talent contest. How many truly good singers have been voted off and then actually MADE IT?
Who remembers the last 2 “so-called” winners? How many “winners” have been able to reach STAR status—-so many have no idea of the committment involved and the hard work and sacrifce necessary to reach stardom!!

I hope someone was standing outside the studio door when Michael Johns was botted off—he will have a CD out before the winner of this contest hits the recording studio!
David Archeletta is not going to have a problem either–but he is young and needs to have someone who actually cares about his talent, not just the money to be made!! Are you listening daddy?
