American Idol 7 Top 8 – Kristy Lee Cook

April 8, 2008 by Jeanne

Kristy Lee Cook is singing “Anyway” and, for me, the verses are a little out of tune but she improves during the chorus.  Randy said there were a couple little pitch problems but it was pretty good.  Paula (what is with her cleavage) said it was her best performance by far.  Simon said that he thought she was very, very good.

I have not been a big supporter of clc all season, however, last night she did a great job. She seemed more relaxed than ever. Good for her. She sounded very sincere..

I have Kristy Lee as one of the top three performances last night along with David A. and Jason.
She has become a combination of an AI and a Survivor contestant after being in the bottom three so many times. She’s tough and she must have a pretty good group of fans who don’t necessarily hear or care about her pitch problems. She’s gorgeous. Right up there with Jordin (had to put in something about her. Still not over her).
Better singers look a lot less confident up there than this girl. She will get a contract and end up selling more CDs than Kelly Pickler for sure.
