American Idol 7’s First Theme Week is Sixties Music

February 18, 2008 by Jeanne

American Idol’s seventh season will kick off with a 1960s-inspired theme week for the Top 24!   That’s a tough one for many so it should be interesting!

Also, as we head into our first “real” week of Idol, I can’t help but wonder if any of the contestants are going to use instruments during the actual competition.  I enjoyed it last season on Canadian Idol for the most part so I’m looking forward to seeing some guitars and pianos (or something else).

I also read on Reality TV Magazine that, during the results show, audiences will be treated to a “Where are they now?” segment about previous American Idol contestants.  I like that idea.  Even though it is not quite the same, I love seeing the “update” footage of the contestants eliminated from The Biggest Loser.  Should be cool.

I like the idea of “where are they now”. I was watching something similar to that, well I should say I attempted to watch it but they really didn’t care for the folks they were focusing on.
    Cool idea though :)

I agree! I think it will be interesting to see what everyone has been up to since they whole Idols thing ended for them.

I’d be interested in seeing where the rest of the American Juniors are now that we’ve seen Miss Prissy Pants Julia whatshername at her season 7 Idol audition. Those two sisters really stuck out to me. You know the ones I mean?
