American Idol 8 Allison Iraheta “I Can’t Make You Love Me”

Allison Iraheta sang one of my favorite songs “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and I was surprised with the song choice, to be honest. She really did give a beautiful performance and I was impressed with the emotion she put into it considering the lyrics probably refer to a situation that she’s never encountered since the girl was only born in 1992!
Paula said that she loved the tenderness that she put into that song. Simon thought it was really good and said that they need to make Allison more likable. Randy said that Allison reminds her so much of Kelly Clarkson but agreed with Simon. Kara said that it took real talent to take such an adult song and make it young.
