American Idol 8 Scott MacIntyre “Keep the Faith”

Scott MacIntyre chose to sing the obscure Michael Jackson song “Keep the Faith” and, even though I consider myself a MJ fan, I can’t say that I’ve heard this song more than once.
That said, Scott hasn’t always picked the most obvious songs and it’s worked for him so far. He did a decent job and I was really impressed that he accompanied himself on the piano. Incredible! As Kara got him to point out, he only learned to play it this past week which is even more amazing.

Scott will go very far, but won’t win
Which is sad, because I would love to see someone like him win. He has more passion for music than anyone in this competition.
He has passion, I’ll give you that, but he doesn’t have a great voice! I think people keep forgetting this is a SINGING competition! The best singer should win!! Not someone who just has a cool story or a nice personality.
