American Idol 8 Top 10 – Adam Lambert “Tracks of My Tears”

Adam Lambert chose to soften up his image this week and sang “Tracks of My Tears” and I thought it was incredible. He showed his versatility and I was able to really appreciate how beautiful his voice is. I feel like he allowed himself to be vulnerable and it was amazingly refreshing. Smokey Robinson himself (the writer and original singer) led the audience in a standing ovation.
Kara said he showed artistry and that it was one of the best performances of the night. Paula said that he has the element of surprise and that she loves his cleaned up look. Simon said it was THE best performance of the night. He said that he is original and talented and has emerged as a star. Randy said that it was unbelievably hot.

Adam Lambert IS the American Idol.
Adam is the best I’ve seen on idol. Would pay big bucks to go see him…
I am totally a Clay Aiken fan, but I knew I liked Adam from the time he sang “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the SanFrancisco auditions. He makes everyone else seem like an amateur and his vocal acrobatics are second to none on Season 8. He is defi nitely the American Idol.
Adam is the best this season, he deserves to win but he is not as good as Clay Aiken was on AI. Clay is still the best male singer they ever had and I’m not even a fan.
I’m another Clay fan, and I didn’t like Adam Lambert from the beginning. Of course, I’m a little biased against contestants who basically have been professionally performing already. I still don’t like that it happens,and was a die hard Danny Gokey fan .(Which I ‘STILL’ am) However,
Adam Lambert stole that show last night. His was the best performance of the night. I am eating crow this morning, because I had already labeled him as ‘pigeonholed’ into the ‘falsetto style’ singing, and unable to broaden his talents.
Even though Adam is very talented, we deserve an American Idol whose past of posting racy homosexual poses online, wont be revealed AFTER he wins.
I too am a Clay fan – went to many of his concerts and with all the effort and energy I invested in him, he knows who I am. He’ll always have a special place in my heart because of that. This is a new year and have found another love. While Clay sings well, Adam is surpassing him in every way. Clay was cautious, Adam is not. And that’s my main reason, aside of his incredible voice. Go Adam! And even if he doesn’t win, he’ll definitely pull a Clay and do better.
I prefer him over Danny, I think Danny and Lil are being overrated, i really don’t like either two of them, i prefer Kris and Matt with Adam in the Top 3

I LOVE him!!!!! I can’t wait till summer tour. BTW he looked sooo gorgeous in this performance my jaw dropped to the floor.

no questions about it. He’s a very attractive young man no matter the look.
