American Idol 8 Top 10 – Kris Allen “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)”
Kris Allen chose to sing “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” which was originally recorded by Marvin Gaye and then by James Taylor. I have to confess that I like Kris more and more every week. He’s got great licks, I love that he plays the guitar and the arrangement tonight was fabulous!
Kara said that she loved that he made his mark on that song and did everything right. Paula said he picked a great song, his personality is infectious and the note at the end was great. Simon said that it was smart of him to make his own version of the song but he needs to be more confident. Randy said that Kris is very consistent and needs to stay in the zone.
