American Idol 8 Top 11 – Anoop Desai “You Were Always on My Mind”

Anoop Desai tackled the Willie Nelson classic “You Were Always On My Mind” and I was really happy to see Anoop taking song choice seriously and showing off the vocals that got him past the auditions.
Paula said that she was proud of him for picking a song that fit him so well. Simon said that Anoop went from “Zero to Hero” and said that it was one of his favorite performances of the night. Randy said that Anoop proved that he can really sing. Kara said that he was amazing and was probably the best performance of the night.

Anoop was AMAZING!!! I love love love his voice and I’m so glad he finally showed that to America!!
With this song Anoop Desai performed the best vocal performance on the American Idol stage this year. I looove this man. I cannot wait to buy his record.
