American Idol 8 Top 5 Results Show

The results show started with this week’s Ford commercial, we saw the group number (a medley of songs from the Rat Pack era) and then we saw footage of a food fight that erupted at the American Idol mansion while they celebrated Allison Iraheta’s birthday.
Natalie Cole and Taylor Hicks performed. It was a pretty good performance from Taylor and I hope that it gets the word out about his new music and gives his sales a nice boost.
Jamie Foxx also sang his new song “Blame It” but I don’t know if it counts as singing if your voice is so digitized. I’m so tired of hearing songs like that on the radio now. When it first came out, it was cool but now it just takes all the talent out of the singing.
After 47 million votes, Matt Giraud, was eliminated from the show, just a couple weeks after being kept in the competition by the judges’ save.
What do you think of this one? I’m pretty happy. I think America got it right.

Oh no! I’m crushed! I was a big Matt fan, and hoped he’d make top three with Danny and Kris *sighs*. I guess at this point someone has to go, but I’m pretty gutted it was him!
Instead of Matt, Adam should be eliminated… we don’t like Adam that much
Not at all surprised at Matt leaving. But I WAS surprised that Adam was the next lowest vote getter! Did the Adam fans all sleep through Tuesday night and forget to vote?
I hate Danny even more!!

Ppl should vote for Adam based on his amazing talent as a performer. Those who put him down or claim not to like him simply because of these “rumors” about his personal life are childish. I could care less about Adam’s preferences in his personal life. All that matters is he’s an amazing performer. He will go far in life, despite the small minded people in this world.
