American Idol 8 Top 7 Adam Lambert “Born to Be Wild”

Adam Lambert chose to sing “Born to Be Wild” and I didn’t like it as much as his performances in the past few weeks. Still, it was pretty outrageous and the audience was freaking out. It felt like a number from a Broadway musical to me but I guess that could be his past in the theater coming out.
Paula was on her feet told him that he dares to dance in the path of greatness and that he’s one of the bravest contestants she’s ever witnessed. Simon said it was vocally incredible but that it was a bit like watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show (he agreed with me!).

Not my favorite either, but the last few weeks have been such great performances that they may be hard to beat. Adam is a great performer and has killer vocals! He is capable of putting on a show with pretty much any song choice.
Adam was the star tonight! Everyone else was so boring, off pitch, struggling and bland… At least Adam ENTERTAINS us! Such energy and dares to take a risk! Thank goodness for Adam and his creativity. Except for Adam, that was one of the worst collective performances ever.

Adam stole the show as usual. Crowd on its feet screaming. Loved that he picked an old, tired song and updated it. He rocks. Thank God for Adam this year or this show would be a S.N.O.R.E. The other contestants, with the exception of Allison, are so similar that when the show is over I can’t remember who sang what.
Only him and Allison have entertaining, the rest are just SOOOOOO BORINGGGG specially Danny who I hate to see every week, i would also hate as josie says seeing him win, it would be like another Taylor Hicks win.
i agree. aside from lambert, the only other one that is worthy of praise would be allison, inho.
