American Idol 8 Top 7 Kris Allen “Falling Slowly”

Kris Allen chose to sing “Falling Slowly” and it was not vocally perfect but it was so emotionally stirring. I was completely captivated and I really didn’t care about the little imperfections.
Randy said that it never quite caught on for him and that it was pitchy from note one. Kara said that it was one of Kris’ best moments and I couldn’t agree more.

I don’t even know this song, but it was a brilliant, moving performance. I loved it!
I loved it. One of the best performances of the season. I actually cried by the time Kris finished singing this song. I haven’t been that touched by a song on American Idol in a long time. I even bought the itunes song by Kris and it is amazing and touching.
Love it.
