American Idol 8 Top 9 Results Show

The American Idol contestants showed us a bit about their lives and things have changed since they’ve been on the show. They spend a lot of time doing interviews, photo shoots and walking the red carpet (wow, I feel so sorry for them – ha ha!). They also revealed that they have a private chef (Scott requested a triple chocolate cake!).
Reigning Idol winner, David Cook, sang his song “Come Back to Me” and I was really happy to see him considering he had to cancel some shows due to some family issues. He was presented with a platinum record for his debut album (over a million copies sold).
Lady Gaga also took the stage and sang a very interesting version of her mega-hit, “Poker Face.” I am so sorry but I cannot stand her. I know she’s popular but she just seems to try too hard to be unique for me.
The bottom three consisted of Megan Joy, Allison Iraheta and Anoop Desai. When she was being put into the bottom, Ryan asked about how Megan felt about Simon’s harsh words following her performance last night. She said that she didn’t care about what Simon had to say (yikes!).
When it was announced that Megan had the fewest number of votes, Ryan asked whether the judges would consider saving her. Simon brought up what she had said about him and then said that the judges were now the ones do “don’t care” and that they would not be considering using the “save” on her. ROUGH!

Gosh finally she is out…. Kinda suprised that Allison is bottom 3. She wasn’t tat bad compared to Matt
I would def buy a Cd from Megan. I hope to see her around again. I was splitting my votes between her and Matt but now I’ll just be voting for Matt. This is the first season I’ve ever really cared about the contestants and watched. In my opinion Anoop needs to go!
It makes me sad that Megan is touring and not Alexis!
Soooooo glad Megan is gone – why was she acting like such an idiot last night? Was she drunk?? She just couldn’t stack up to the rest of them. Also, why isn’t Scott in the bottom 3??? His vocals do not stack up to the others either. Allison amazes me every week – why doesn’t America like her? Apparently they don’t know what talent is.
It was great to see and hear David Cook again. I’m glad Megan is gone – that was horrible to listen to again.
