American Idol Audition Video – Angelica Puente

Angelica Puente is just 17-years-old but she has moved out of her house because she just can’t get along with her super-strict father. She said that she knows it’s just because he cares but she still struggles to get along with him.
He gave her his blessing about auditioning for Idol and she did a good job covering “Power of Love” – good, but not great. I think she was nervous and I hear the potential so it will be interesting to see what she does in the Hollywood round.

Ok, I’m guilty of tearing up on this one when Ryan called her dad and he said she has always been my American Idol….
She was nervous but I hope she does well in Hollywood.
Angelica – Keep at it. You have a great voice. Practice and try again next season!

I knew Angelica when we were in middle school. I was excited to see someone I knew on idol. She has a good voice and great potential. Keep it up!
