American Idol Countdown #11 – Stephanie Edwards

Stephanie Edwards was eliminated on March 21, 2007 from season 6 of American Idol. It was "British Invasion Week" and I can’t really say what got her eliminated. The problem I had with Stephanie was that she sounded a little too much like she wanted to be the next Beyoncé.
Still, I think she should have been around longer. Did you guys like her?

I was so sad when my mom told me the next morning after the results that Stephanie got voted off. She didn’t do her best on this song but she deserved to get further than the top 11. Not win exactly, since Jordin is #1, but like the top 7 or something.
I agree that Stephanie should have gone further than she did b/c in reality she can sing but her downfall came b/c they said she sounded like each artist song she was singing and this was evident when she sang the Beyonce song. But I do agree that she should have gone further than let’s see ummmm oh yeah Sanjaya….lol
