american idol experience

American Idol season 7 finalist, Syesha Mercado, sat down and talked about the American Idol Experience attraction which is opening next month at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida (Syesha’s home state!).

A few days ago, I put up a video of Idol winner, David Cook, talking about it (click here to watch it!)

I will be attending the grand opening so, if you’re in the area and want to meet up, drop me a line or leave me a comment.  In the meantime, check out the video below and get more details for the American Idol Experience official site!

I went to Disney yesterday, and honestly, the American Idol Experience was a huge disappointment.

In the morning they had people come over and find people in the lines to be brought to the producers straight away. There were some really great singers and they told them to come back and try another audition later in the day, a couple really bad singers were put through.

I was hoping to see the great singers I saw this morning when I went to one of the shows and the show was tacky, and it was just a very lame kareoke show. The women were middle aged and it almost seems they were put there for people to laugh at them. The people in the show said they didn’t even know they were going to be in the show. The real prepared and young singers were denied, which overall really brought the show down. I will most likely not see it again.
