American Idol Finalist Paris Bennett Pregnant

Paris Bennett, who you may remember as a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol, is expecting her first child, a baby girl, this October. Reps for the 19-year-old singer (she’ll be 20 by her due date) have confirmed the report. Her mother, Jamecia, had an interesting take on it: “I’m proud of how she did it. I was 16 when I got pregnant,” she said. When asked about her grandchild’s father, she replied: “he chooses not to be in the public eye. I respect that.”
Her mother also adds that Paris “has a ring” so I’m guessing a wedding is in the works. Well, some of life’s best laid plans are unexpected.

aww, wow. i didn’t expect that, but if she’s happy, good for her (: she’s so sweet, she’ll make a good mother, even if she’s a little young. but iits her choice, so if she’s happy, thats all that matters.
I don’t think 19 is all that much better than 16. Oh, well.
…Ummm, Paris… “Wives” get pregnant by their Husbands. Girlfriends who get pregnant by their boyfriends have a lifetime of eating dirt ahead of them. Hope that wedding happens VERY soon. 19 is WAY TOO young!
