I wish they wouldn’t restrict the stamps to idol winners. As we all know that shohas generated alot of stars.

I think its great. $10 a sheet goes to Idol Gives Back. Thats 7 Million dollars for charity.

The stamps are collectors items, and legal US postage.

This week is Kelly Clarkson, next week Ruebem Stoddard, Carrie Underwood, etc. The last week will be this years Idol.

With 100,000 sheets per Idol thats a lot of money for the Idol Gives Back charities, and the stamps look really cool.

I would think they would sell out quickly.

If they sell all the stamps, then over 7 Million doilars will be raised for Idol Gives Back.

700,000 sheets of stamps, (100,000 sheets per Idol winner), $1O per stamp sheet goes to Idol Gives Back.

Thats a nice chunk of change.

That is a steep tariff for these stamps. But, fans will pay for them as will collectors.

They will be doing it for all 6 winners – there by losing a big market, but we won’t go into that.

The last remaining question is exactly how much will this raise? You have to deduct the cost of stamps, the cost of manufacture and the remainder will go to charity. I wish they would give us the amount going to charity before we buy something. I just like truth in advertising.

PS I know one fan group that struggled and eventually got another Idol on home made stamps years ago. had to claim it was a family member back then.
