American Idol Premieres in Philly and Dallas
You’ve probably heard but when American Idol returns next week on January 15th and 16th, they will be featuring auditions from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Dallas, Texas. The press release says that the episodes featuring auditions held in San Diego, Omaha, Atlanta, Charleston and Miami will be announced sometime soon.
Wooohooo! I am so excited! My heart is racing just thinking about it and I’m ready to put last season behind me.
Is there anyone who was so put off by last season that you are not going to watch season 7?

look, every season is a new season. just because you didnt like season 6, doesnt mean you wont like season 7. the contestants are new!! hehe. just pretend season 5 was the latest season =) most people loved that season =) and i’m sure they learned from the mistakes they did in season 6. they already promised less focus on the guest mentors in season 7.

I too was completely put off with season 6, so was my oldest daughter, but we’re too curious (nosey?) not to watch. I’ll probably watch it if its on for another 10 years, if I’m still here. lol

I’ll still be watching. I didn’t watch season 6 very closely so I wasn’t put off by it so much. Lets just hope that “vote for the worst.com” doesn’t spoil American Idol again.

ummm, maybe i’m the only one, but i thought last season was amazing ! other than the whole votefortheworse.com thing, i really loved the contestants and the music. but yeah, they should focus less on the mentors and more on the AMAZING IDOLS (:

Last season wasn’t the best, but once it got going there were some pretty amazing singers to come out of it. I really liked LaKisha, Melinda, Gina and Chris Richardson. Of course I was rooting for Melinda and thought she had it, but with Idol nothing is for certain with the way the voting goes. lol The only part that drives me nuts is the auditions parts, if they would not show all that or got through it sooner, they could get more time for performances and stuff. That’s actually when I start watching when the actual performing starts, I don’t care much for the auditions.
