So, now that the seventh season of American Idol is underway, I think it would be fun to look at past seasons and talk about what is “needed” in order for this to be a typical (hopefully good!) season!

There’s so much more than this but I thought it was a good start.  Let me know what you think makes American Idol so interesting in the comments area!!!

First, we need auditions.  Now, I didn’t work on this site last year so there aren’t really many auditions from season 6 to choose from but here are the ones from this season:

Next, we need a “Top 24.”

The American Idol concept is superb. what needs to be changed to make it a major force in entertainment is to allow only 1 vote per customer.By having people voting numerous times for one contestant makes it phony.1 vote per customer would truly make it “THE AMERICAN IDOL”

I agree that the voting should be changed. The way it is right now is unfair, but then again it works for the shows ratings…it’s all about the money and not the contestants, yet we watch :) go figure.
