American Idol Results Show Extends to One Hour

American Idol will be expanding their results show to one hour startiung March 12, 2008.
Also, Idol Gives Back will be airing on Wednesday April 9, 2008 so the results show will air on Thursday, April 10, 2008. One contestant will be sent home and the remaining Top 5 contestants will continue on to perform the following week.

Hurumph!! They better do something entertaining.
The only year it was worth an hour was season two when they did several group songs as part of the show and the Ford commercial and usually some behind the scenes videos. And still they dragged out the eliminations!!!!
The other years they filled it with guest stars, which are not supposed to be used as much this year. Unless these kids are willing to work their butts off and provide some extra entertainment, there won’t be much going on.
I don’t mind Amy Davis gone – she is not good, but I like Joanne – I wanted the girl who can do Britney Spear gone & she stay – she will be next to be vote off I hope!!! Colton gone okay too, but Garrett, that’s not good at all. I was really praying Danny Noriega gone – he is completely nothing in the voice!!! Completely my own preference and nothing personal!
