American Idol Season 7 Audition – Alesha Stelzl

Alesha Stelzl auditioned singing Celine Dion’s “I Surrender” and I didn’t think it was fabulous but I didn’t hate it either.
After Randy and Paula told her that she reminded them of Dolly Parton she was told she could audition again after she learned a Dolly song. Alesha went off and learned “Islands in the Stream” and it sounded good (not great) but good.
Simon was actually disappointed that she came back and did well because he wasn’t expecting it. She made it through to the next round!!!!

I really, really liked her too. She had a sweet voice.
Was so disappointed that she didn’t make it through the hollywood round – that they didn’t even show her there that much.
Hope she tries again next year!
