American Idol Season 7 Audition - Amanda Overmyer

image Amanda Overmyer is a motorcycle-riding nurse with a nice edgy style and a good voice.  She sang some Janis Joplin and Creedence Clearwater Revival and I really, really liked her.  I think we need diversity in the competition so I’m usually happy to spot a cool rocker (especially female ones!). 

I do worry about how she’ll do in Hollywood and on the theme nights (Chris Daughtry did alright but last year’s Gina Glocksen faced some challenges even though I think she was voted off too soon).

    Amanda is a STONE COLD FOX and has the edgy grit that could get her a record deal without going all the way. But I hope she does anyway. She’s got my 10 votes every week.

    I love Amanda Overmyer. She is great. Finally a real singer and rock and roller.

    I think we have finially found the girl of Rock and Roll. Shes hot she’s got style. she has it all. oh yeah did i say she’s hot lol… sorry she is a baby doll. my fav already. she gets kicked off AI i am done with the show because they dont know what they are lossing..     Amanda is on fire. It’s been a long, long time since a REAL female rock superstar stepped out. Most female singers sound like, and look like, Barbie dolls. We are starving for her next performance. Pensacola loves you, Amanda.

    Amanda rocks. She is truly authentic and you can see her passion for edgy music pouring out of her when she sings. We are missing that passion in the music industry a lot these days. Love, love, love her.
