American Idol Season 8 Top 36 – Group 2 Performance Recap

The second group from the Top 36 had to sing songs from Billboard’s Hot 100 
tonight on American Idol. I was really interested to see how things were going to unfold after all the Paula/Kara drama. I felt like Paula went over-the-top with her commentary tonight and was really trying to look better than she normally does. Did you notice that too?
What did you think of the performances tonight? Again, I think poor song choices ruined some people’s chances (Matt Giraud and Mishavonna Henson, for example). I’d love to hear what you think. Take my poll!

Tonight performances were either good or bad – nothing in the middle. If I were a betting man I’d put my money on Allison Iraheta.
Any1 know what song group 2 sang together during their elimination round?:)
I’m also looking for the song group 2 sang together on Feb 26th show. Anyone know?

OMG I’m wondering if everyone is deaf or there’s something wrong with me??!! I thought Mishavonna did great with Drops of Jupiter and I can’t understand why the “I wouldn’t have picked that song for her” comment? If she can sing a phone book, why can’t she sing this song? She was wonderful. She IS wonderful. I became a fan of hers and wish her the best in her future endeavors. AI has let me down so much this year, I’m not sure I can continue watching. Tatiana over Mishavonna? Over Ju’Not? Jasmine in Top 13? Megan Corkrey??? She is off pitch all the time! I’m just so disappointed, but whatever, America votes and the judges go with whatever will cause the most drama for the show. Good luck to Danny, Alexis, Allison, Anoop, Kris, Lil, Matt and Michael. They should’ve just gone to the top 8 and left it at that…..
only 3 people did really good that night and they were the ones that made it! (Allison, Kris, and Adam)
