American Idol’s Tamyra Gray Joins Cast of “Rent”
On that very first season of American Idol, Tamyra Gray came in fourth place behind runner-up, Justin Guarini and winner, Kelly Clarkson. Since then, Tamyra has been working on several projects but most recently, she was picked to join the cast of Broadway’s 7th longest running show of all time, “Rent.”
Tamyra will be taking on the role of Mimi Marquez from May 29-November 25, 2007.

Took the words right out of my mouth Hayley, I hate when these so called American Idol know it alls get to handle the news like this, and don’t have any idea what the hell they’re talking about…and furthermore, this whole thing about Carrie and Tony needs to stop.
I’m a local celebrity where I live as I’m a rock singer and actor, and I have to say that a person’s private life is something that is very precious when in the entertainment biz.
If Carrie and Tony do love each other..so what? Are we sleeping in their bed with em? No!..so the everyone should just mind their own damn business!

You both are speaking as if you have never made a mistake before. Wow it must be nice to come from a planet where everyone is perfect. A simple correction would have been cool but then when you start cussing people out for making a human error it becomes ignorant on your part. As for everyone minding their “damn” business….your contradictive butt just stepped in our business…if you don’t like something you read, then move along…but no YOU made OUR conversation YOUR business by coming over here and slamming Jeanne for a simple human error…so I guess your not so perfect after all…or maybe just in your little local celebrity world…guess you should buck up now and get ready for the big world when you turn into a NATIONAL celebrity when you got the big guys in your business…good luck with that…I really hope you are successful in your journey…keep away from the paparazzi…they can be brutal ;)
Hayley how can you possible be disappointed with someone you don’t know? You may be disappointed with the error that was made…if your disappointed about simple human error you must be ready to slit your wrists if someone cuts you off in traffic…
I personally think both comments are funny b/c you both ream us out for either making a mistake or commenting on entertainment issues in the news…but yet you seem to be more in their business than us…we are just commenting on stuff we read in the news…LOL…where you guys are taking it so personal….do they not allow opinions on your planet? THANK YOU A’kyra! I mean honestly people, why is this even a problem??? Are you telling me that beacause Jeanne made ONE mistake on ONE word that she deserves to be dissed like you just did? Are you really being serious? Really? By the way you guys were talking you would have thought some WW3 had just happened. Whoops!!! Jeanne made an error! Why are you guys (Hayley and RockStarJake007) acting as if she shot John F. Kennedy or something? It’s not a big deal.
As for the whole Carrie-Tony thing, why is it so unnacceptable to talk abou their love life? Carrie did. So why is it a problem if we do?

PUH - LEASE tell me you did not just say that to A’kyra. Actually saying “I’m way smarter than you” is something people do in grade school. Are you kidding me? It IS a message board but what made me upset was that you attacked Jeanne for making a simple mistake. That doesn’ seem very “smart” to me.
The only ones here who are making themselves look like fools here are the ones preaching to everyone else on how their mistakes lead them to being attacked on a blog.

Hayley - it’s disappointing to me that you feel it appropriate to come on to a site and be a heckler. Making a mistake is not worth embarrassment but treating others with no respect is. I wonder what people might find if they followed you around waiting for errors. Sadly, you didn’t even make a comment about Tamyra.
RockStarJake007 - it’s funny that you mention typos and how it is stupid to talk about Carrie’s romance since you feel that no one cares, yet you provided us with information about your life (your so-called local rock star status) that no one here cares to know.
Further, if you believe that people should mind their own business, why are you on this site at all? Aren’t you busy with being a rock star?

Gerri and I praised a favorite past Idol and you and Hayley stepped in and mentioned nothing about what the post was actually about but instead chose to bad mouth Jeanne and innocent commenters.
Jeanne is right, you rant about a persons privacy yet you gloat about your own almost as if you were yearning for us to swoon over you. Your a local icon…and? So what…no one here asked for that information…you gave it up willingly yet you scorn others for responding to the information that was willingly given. I’m just saying that you need to make up your mind which side of the fence you are going to stand on.

He might be but since no one has actually met him/her I guess we will never know, but that was a good laugh RockStar thank you!!! :) And what comment was he reading where i “volunteered” information that ZigZag was my man??? Hahaha :) This is hilarious and I’m actually glad you are amused as well. I really didn’t expect you to get mad…I mean there is no reason to get mad, you started something and followed it through…that’s good character ;) And you know what? You should stand up for what you believe in. Lowly fans like us have more respect for artist who stand up for what they believe in like Kelly Clarkson and even Jordin Sparks…it’s very commendable so bravo…you go boi ;)
