  I love this version of Christmas song.
  Actually, I’ve heard it sung many times before by many artists and have never liked it. This version by Anthony Callea actually turns it into a beautiful song. So smooth and warm.

  I love Anthony singing this song, thankyou for posting it Jeanne. It was acutally released on a the Salvation Army Christmas CD that year. Nothing would make my Christmas happier than to have Anthony release a full Christmas album. His performance last year of Silent Night with vision impaired acoustic guitarist was simply beautiful.

  Just beautiful! I love this song and I have heard many different versions of it, but this is by far my favourite. His rich, warm voice gives me goosebumps and his gorgeous face is not exactly hard on the eyes either!

  I haven’t heard much better. In fact, I haven’t heard better at all.

  Anthony’s beautiful voice lends itself to any genre, and it certainly does justice to this Christmas song.

  Absolutely beautiful magnificant as everything Anthony ever sings is. I’ve never particually liked this song before until Anthony sang it now I love it. I am actually playing this song in my car at the moment but I agree with Di nothing would make me happier than to listen to a whole album of Anthony’s glorious vocals.

  That was an OK version but it lacked any real feeling. I’ve heard better. I really don’t see why you think he’s all that good? he’s average to me…..I guess that’s why he’s not all that well known where I’m from.

  Do yourself a favour and listen to Anthony Callea sing The Prayer. Sensational voice, sensational singer. He sings in every genre. He was chosen especially to sing on separate occasions for British Royalty, Danish Royalty and Luciano Pavarotti. They wanted to hear the best singer and they got him.

  Sorry bello IMO, In no way is he the best singer…I guess everyone has thier own ideas of what’s good and what absolutley boring….Anthony is rather Dull.

  Thats your opinion Pete, but Anthony is many things, but dull he isn’t. Don’t base it on one Carols performance done over 2 years ago, having just finished a National Tour and the lead role in RENT of Mark Cohen all I can say is he is a dynamo performer. What part of the world are you from? As you say everyone has different tastes in music, who is your favourite artist?

  There is absolutely nothing ‘dull’ about Anthony Callea, and his voice is superb. You can hardly base your opinion of him from listening to one song. He is absolutely brilliant every time he performs live, and he’s the one contemporary singer who actually sounds as good - if not better - live than in recording.
