Antonella, Haley and Gina – Blake Haters?

Yuck – I hope this isn’t true. Apparently, before the finale, Antonella Barba, Haley Scarnato and Gina Glocksen put messages up on their MySpace pages urging their friends to vote for Jordin Sparks. That is rough! I’m not sure why they would feel it’s appropriate to do to Blake Lewis with whom they must tour this summer. If they were from a different season, maybe, but I don’t think fellow cast-members should do this kind of thing. It just isn’t classy, in my books. Well, Antonella and Haley had already shown us that but I was surprised at Gina.
I read on Ricky.org that (according to People magazine) they all hate Sanjaya.

That would include Blake himself. Gina’s disgust over being outlasted by Sanjaya is particularly notorious.
I can understand resenting Sanjaya….but Blake? I’m an older AI fan, and I was very impressed with Blake. Sounds like some jealousy amongst ‘family’ members. Too bad…it will proably hurt the tour.

These girls need to learn how to have some class! That’s just rude. I would hate to be at that tour. There’s gonna be some tension and definately no buddy-buddy relationships between those girls and Blake.
i dont think they’re blake haters. they’re just supporting jordin.. much like how chris is supporting blake. another thing, i read an article in people.com that said blake once blew a kiss to antonella who was watching from the audience after a performance show and antonella responded by catching the kiss and holding it to her chest. XD XD XD. a budding blaketonella??
Trippi – I heard that too but then it was denied so I didn’t write about it. I really hope there’s not Larba or Blaketonella going on. *shudder*
Tuinuia – thanks for the video link. Gina is known for her resentment. It’s too bad because I don’t think Sanjaya outlasting her makes a difference. She would not have won.
Deanie – that’s my concern too. I hope the tour doesn’t suffer. This is probably the most bitter bag of sour grapes I’ve seen after a season of Idol. There’s almost no maturity.

This seems to be an especially bitter group of contestants. I’ve never heard so much whining before this season. Sour grapes all around. From Sundance, Jarod, Chris Sligh, Gina, and now this? No class. It really reflects badly on their own lack of character.
I read that Gina had a fit and snapped at Sanjaya after she was eliminated. Terrible manners on that girl. She has a foul temper.
The irony is that none of those girls ever had a shot of winning in the first place. Not even close.
I feel bad for Blake having to spend time with them.
this is NOT TRUE even if they do want people to vote 4 Jordin thats fine!! They have nothing against Blake! Or Sanjaya!! Don’t u have anything better to do then make up rumors about American Idol contestants? I love Gina and Haley but I also love Blake. Please stop making up rumors about them!
Oh and just so u know, Haley voted 4 Blake AND Jordin.

Since being cast off of the ‘American Idol’ stage Glocksen has kept the Sanjaya Malakar subject mum. Showing a lot of character, Glocksen has refused to bad-mouth the 17-year-old that continually survives the vote. She has instead remarked that the two are friends and she admires his self-confidence.

The producers have said the contestants get along better this year then any other year they would not say that if all this were true some of you people just need to get a life!!! How do you think you make these people feel?
Recently eliminated American Idol finalists are quickly discovering that the media is often more interested in hearing their thoughts and opinions on Sanjaya Malakar than hearing about the finalist’s own experiences on the show. In a recent media conference call, Gina Glocksen faced several questions about Sanjaya, and she defended her fellow finalist, who she also called her friend.
When asked if it was tough to see that Sanjaya placed higher than all of them in the bottom three, Gina Glocksen said “It’s funny that everyone is asking is it tough that Sanjaya did, I mean it’s tough that all the other eight people did. It’s not just Sanjaya.” Glocksen also added “He’s just different. It’s not that he’s better or worse. He’s Sanjaya and Jordin is Jordin and Chris is Chris and Blake is Blake; America, I guess, was through with me, and that’s fine. I’m fine with it. I’m going to tour.”
When asked what she thought about Sanjaya hanging in there every week, Gina Glocksen said “I’m proud of him. He’s hanging in there and he’s not letting it get to him. He still comes out on stage every week and he gives his all.”
When asked if the finalists had heard the press going on about Sanjaya outside the show or if the were sheltered from it, Glocksen said “We were pretty much sheltered from it. American Idol is really good at keeping up away from the things that are being said about us, just so it doesn’t affect our performances and affect us and our emotions throughout the week.” Gina also added “Things are going to be told about you on the Internet, and it’s to our own caution that we don’t read it. And he doesn’t read it, I try not to, other people don’t; we just try to stay away from it.”
When asked the more innocent question of if Sanjaya ever came to her for hairstyling tips, Gina Glocksen said “Oh, no. No. It’s funny; it’s like a competition–who has better hair, and we’re going to have a hair-off.” In regards to where his faux-hawk ranked against some of the other haircuts, Glocksen said “I think it’s number one; I think it was awesome.” Glocksen also added “It just set him apart from everyone else. It was crazy.”
When asked if there were any grumblings or bad feelings about Sanjaya in the group of finalists, Gina Glocksen said “Not that I’ve heard. People are pretty fair about what they say in front of people. I’m friends with Sanjaya, so they know that if they’re going to bad mouth him, not to do it in front of me.”
When asked what Sanjaya was really like, Gina Glocksen said “He’s exactly what you see on TV. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks. He does his thing and he’s proud of himself. I love that; self-confidence is a great trait to have.”

welllllll i was only friends with antonella at the time of the finale and she was posting bullitens saying to vote for jordin but i doubt she has anything against blake.
