Archuleta and Cook on The View - Video

American Idol winner, David Cook, and the runner-up, David Archuleta, were on The View this morning where they talked about what it has been like since the show has ended.
The ladies asked them about dating and Archie said he hasn’t been thinking about it and Cookie said that there is someone but didn’t elaborate… of course, we all know that he’s mentioned going on a date with season two’s Kimberly Caldwell so I’m sure that’s who he is talking about.
Barbara Walters asked Archie if he feels any resentment about being practically declared the winner by Idol judge, Simon Cowell, and then, ultimately, losing to Cook (he said no, he doesn’t have any hard feelings because he didn’t agree with Simon).
Things got even more interesting when Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked Archie’s dad, Jeff Archuleta, about all of the rumors surrounding his behavior as a “backstage dad.”
Jeff explained that he believes David is just a really good kid and the media was frustrated that they couldn’t find anything negative to say about him. Cook chimed in and said that he never saw Jeff do anything bad and that he just always seemed like a loving, caring and supportive father.
David Archuleta also sang “Stand By Me/Beautiful Girls” and, of course, it was really good. Watch the interview and Archie’s performance:

Joy is rude and should apologize for how she interviewed David Archuleta. The only reason I tuned in was because of David. I find some of their comments and opinions extremely abrasive and usually don’t watch. He is only 17 and found her comment inappropriate. He did a beautiful job singing as usual. Love David Archuleta
