Ashlee Simpson’s Afraid of Blake Lewis???

Huh??? Oh, I get it! Ashlee Simpson (an artist that I am definitely not too fond of) was supposed to release her long-awaited follow-up to “I Am Me” on November 27th but girlfriend pushed that date because she did not want to compete with American Idol cutie pie, Blake Lewis. But get this quote:
In a moment of the pot calling the kettle black, “Ashlee hates American idol, and thinks the show makes stars of nobodies, taking credibility away from real musicians,” a source told OK! of the former MTV reality star turned pop star.
The source added, “They’re figuring out the release date, but it should be at the end of December. She doesn’t want to compete with crazy Idol fans.”
Although her website simultaneously declares the album’s release date to be November and December. Ashlee’s rep tells OK!, “There was never a date set, so it couldn’t have been pushed back.”
Uh huh. Anyway, for what it’s worth, I think she’s smart not to want to compete with Blaker Girls because they are awesome and she would get beat up (kidding…). If that quote is true, she is lame because every artist was a “nobody” once upon a time and I’d put my money on Elliott, Carrie, Kellie, Kelly, Daughtry, Taylor, Kalan, etc… over her any day!

BWAH! SHe, who is so serious because she co-writes her own songs, except the reality show showed that her version of co-writing was to go in and tell professionals she wanted a song about a boy friend and another song about….. She who can’t sing on key of her life depended on it…..She who gets caught being a STAH! and pushing people around, well, OK, she does that pretty good.
If life was fair, Ashlee will just disappear from the radio and end up doing ho downs at hooters.

at least idols don’t have to fake sing like half of the so-called “real artists” (according to ashlee)
i wouldnt start shooting your guns right now, guys. there have been several accounts recently when OK! has reported false stories and falsified interviews, and i wouldnt be surprised if this was a hoax as well…
If this is true my respect has gone down by about 1000%. And that’s saying a lot because I really don’t like her.
The “nobody” named Jennifer Hudson can do a lot more than just string together a few mumbled words about a boyfriend and call it a song.
There isn’t a singer out there that doesn’t start out as a “nobody’. At least as far as the public goes. The difference with the people who come out of American Idol is you actually have to be able to SING. Some can play instruments, some can write, some can dance, but they all can sing. Someone like Ashley Simpson knows that if she had tried out for that show her voice wouldn’t have gotten her very far. Without her sister no one would know who she was and her career trajectory would have been far different. I think that alot of the current crop of singers know that they too would not have gotten very far on that show and thats why they are so dismissive of the Idols. Some really great singers have come out of Idol Carrie, Elliott, Bucky, Kellie and Kelly, Bo, Melinda,Chris ,Taylor and most of all Clay. Those aren’t the only ones but you get my point. I hope eventually they get the respect they deserve. There’s room for everyone. People achieve success in different ways, there isnt just one way to do it.

dude ashlee simpson is so fake. it was easy for her to get into the business because of her older sister. the people on american idol took a chance and were voted by the fans, not just thrown into hollywood because they have connections. blake lewis and all the other people on idol are so much better than ashlee in many, many ways.
blake lewis is so ignorant did you hear about him blasting his speakers up at 1 o clock am there’s a article about him doing that look it up
