The more I hear Ryan Seacrest talk about the American Idol Gives Back campaign, the more I really feel this is going to be an amazingly huge fundraising event and effort. From the people they’ve got involved with the special show they’re going to have in a couple of weeks on April 24th, and the sponsors they’ve already got lined up to sponsor the number of incoming phone calls, I think this relief effort is going to raise a couple of million dollars at least! Did you enjoy Michael Buble’s performance last night on American Idol? It’s amazing how good this guy is. My favorite American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, has told the press he was “shocked” when Sanjaya beat out Sundance Head for a place in the Top 12 of this season’s American Idol. It’s 11:50pm, the van’s unpacked and I’m sitting in my recliner ready to go. I just got back in from a little family vacation to various locations in Ohio, and am finally getting a chance to sit down and watch the results show for American Idol. Don’t you just love having a DVR? The show is starting off and they’re going back through the highlights of last night’s show. Lot’s of good performances, and better performances for many.
