American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, was on the Ellen show earlier this week where she talked about a variety of things including her relationship with hockey player, Mike Fisher, and her new album.  She looked so pretty!!!  It was amazing to listen to Ellen listing all of the awards that Carrie has won in the four short years since she won Idol.  The talk show host talked to Carrie about her experience on the show to glean some insight since Ellen has been named a new judge for the upcoming season. David Archuleta is at home in Utah and he sat down to make an adorable vlog for all of us fans!  He talked about what he’s been up to and he mentioned the ice skating special, Kaleidoscope, which will air on Thanksgiving Day and features performances by Katharine McPhee and skaters Scott Hamilton, Nancy Kerrigan and more.  Sounds fun! When American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, tweeted that she wasn’t feeling well a few days ago, I figured it was just a case of her catching some bug that would be gone in a few days but the poor girl was far sicker than that! She tweeted that she needed prayer and then wrote this: “Was struck w/ acute appendicitis…took out that appendix last night. Recovering today & the next week or so.” She’s been updating that she’s still sore but recovering while she also thanks all of her well-wishes for their warm thoughts.  She looks absolutely adorable in this twitpic image that she shared in an update.
