Bucky Covington to Appear in Hannah Montana Movie

Bucky Covington’s official website is reporting that the American Idol season 5 contestant will be appearing in Hannah Montana: The Movie, which will be released in theatres in 2009. Bucky will be playing a musician in the movie and was invited to the set by Billy Ray Cyrus himself.
“I’ve never been on a movie set so I don’t know what to expect,” said Bucky. “I’ve always been a fan of Billy Ray’s music and it really is an honor for him to ask me to be a part of what is sure to be the biggest movie released next year.”
Wow! It must be a trip to be invited by Billy Ray to be featured in such a phenomenal project.

I got to see him at this big local country music festival last year. I only saw the last half of his set, but he was really good!
