Canadian Idol 6: Sebastian Pigott "Lucille"

Sebastian Pigott Canadian Idol

Sebastian Pigott sang “Lucille” by Little Richard and Gavin Rossdale said that he should put more pain into the performance than bravado so that there is more of an emotional connection with the audience.  He said that Sebastian puts on layers of masks and that the vulnerability would be more interesting to see (I agree).  I still felt like it was a “forced” performance, even though I do like him.  I would like to see him let his guard down.  I did like it, however :)

Jake said that after the last two weeks he needed to do something great and he pulled it off.  Sass said that she loved the zydeco feel to the arrangement.  Farley welcomed him back to the music business and that the performance was refreshing after the last couple weeks.  Zack said it was much better but that, with some luck, he will go home tomorrow night so that they can go on to find the next Canadian Idol.  OUCH!!!
