Carly Smithson and Michael Johns Perform on Ellen – Video

Hot stuff! Eliminated American Idol contestants Carly Smithson and Michael Johns performed on the Ellen show this morning and I thought they were pretty good! There were a couple small pitch issues during the harmonies but considering the fact that they don’t normally sing together, I think it turned out quite well.

Personally, I thought it sucked! I would love to hear Michael John sing it without Carly as I think her voice was the problem in that musical arrangement. I think he has a much better chance of being successful in the music industry then she does. Carly probably would do well in local clubs and Karaoke nights at the local lounges.
The pitch issues were definitely on Carly’s part. I wanted her to just shut up and let Michael sing.

I believe that MJ will be a famous star. He has the whole package (voice, good looking, charismatic, good attitude n also his lovely accent). His voice is a blessing n his face is a bonus. Can’t wait 2 buy his album, all the best 4 him….Love U MJ……
MICHEAL JOHNS AND CARLY SMITHSON SINGING TOGETHER IS WHAT WOULD MAKE ME GO OUT AND BUY THE CD…..AMAZING VOCALS. BEST PERFORMANCE OF ALL ON FINALS NIGHT WITH “THE LETTER” AND THEY WERE GREAT ON ELLEN TOO.
